Who's your Mirror?

Who is irritating you?

Challenging you?

Pissing you off?

Even hurting you?

Who triggers you?

I know you don’t want to hear this but that person is setting off emotion in you, triggering you to look in the mirror and see what needs to be healed in YOU.

Yes. You read that correctly.

You brought this person into your life to help you awaken to things that need to be healed in your life.

Usually it’s unconscious. You don’t know what the trigger is.

Someone says something and tears well up in your eyes?

Happened to me recently.

My significant other said “ I’m busy” when I wanted to show him something.

I felt it immediately.

That feeling of “ I’m not important”

A deep sadness.

Because I do the work I do, I knew deep down it wasn’t just his words or his actions that brought the tears. It was something inside of ME.

He asked “Did I do something wrong?”

I said “it’s not your fault”

I went for a walk to dig into what the fuck brought those tears.

What needed to be healed?

I found her.

The little girl from long ago, little Amy.

In a kitchen with an emotionally unavailable

Mama who was stressed out and ridden with anxiety and didn’t have time for this little girl.

Not her fault. No blame here. This isn’t about blaming parents.

But 40 some years later when my significant other tells me he’s busy my subconscious went back to that 2-3 year old little girl.

This is an opportunity for healing. 🙌🏻

I could have just been pissed off at him for saying he’s busy and blame him, and be a victim and not look into it any further than that.

OR I could choose to see what needed to be healed in ME.

Who is being a mirror to you and what do you want to do about it?

Be thankful and heal things?

Or play the blame game and keep living as the victim?

You get to choose. 🙌🏻
